Our Aims

The Nicola Murray Foundation was formed in June 2010 and is a registered charity.

The foundation has two primary aims:

  • To raise funds to support medical researchers in Ovarian cancer, including projects on the hereditary syndrome HNPCC and,
  • To support the work of the Nicola Murray Centre for Ovarian Cancer Research

The Nicola Murray Foundation will focus on funding projects that should ultimately impact on better detection, treatment, services and outcomes to women with Ovarian.

To date the funds raised have supported:

  • Scientific research projects
  • Research proposals
  • PhD students
  • Clinical trials
  • Raising awareness
